the lighthouse

The  lighthouse
“Yay, yay”, it was the end of term and everyone was having parties and family catch-ups. Meanwhile,
there was an old man who lived up in his lighthouse, all on his own. He was a grumpy, moody old man.
His name was Jeffery.

All of a sudden when the light was just about to come round to all the villages
Jeffrey thought he would here them go “Ayee” but they did not he looked out the window no light.

As quickly as he could, he grabbed his toolbox and ran up the winding stairs case.
He glanced at the light then glanced out the window and heard a boat go “Honk” “Honk”.

He had to think quick but did not have to think at all he had to do was run as fast as he could down the stairs.
He opened the door. It was like a sunrise. He did not know what the villages were doing.
He thought they would be too busy having parties.
But no, they were coming for him. They all stood on the balcony and the boat turned around. All cheered...
especially Jeffery.

year 4 camp

Year   4    camp

I loved year 4 camp. My favourite place was the Moana pool,
because on the fast hydroslide, if you pushed off,
you would zoom down. On my first time down I was terrified.
I was horrified at the top, but as I started to zip down,
I really loved it at the bottom. I  declared to myself, I want to do it again.
I did it again until the end.

I learned a lot at the museum. In my car group,
there was Tahlia-Rose and Tom.

In my cabin on the first night there was Tahlia-Rose on the top bunk,
Toni on the bottom bunk, and Dad in the double bed and Lucia slept on
the single bed, but on the last night, Dad and Lucia swapped because
Lucia’s dad came.

We had to improvise when we went up Bowen street because we were
tired from walking around the museums and now we had walk this street.
I could see in everyone smile that they were having a good time.

The chef's were amazing.

The cabins were the normal average cabins.

I LOVED YEAR 4 CAMP!
